Today, "Ihuru Island" is been named as "ANGSANA Resort & Spa Maldives Ihuru" and the island will be opened on 1st October, 2001 - where bookings are going on.......Taking an inspirational approach to resort living, Angsana Resort & Spa Maldives Ihuru combines a minimalist modern design approach.

Most of our guests says Ihuru is a gem, lost in the Indian Ocean. The island is naturally round in shape, with a beach all around the island (what you see from the above picture is what you get at Ihuru Island) and an extremely good house reef for snorkeling.

Dotting the circumference of ihuru island are 49 captivating villas with thatched roofs, private gardens and verandas with dinning and sitting areas. The interiors are of lime green, tangerine, burgundy and yellow, presenting you with a contemporary image that surprises and reawakens your senses. There are 10 exclusive Beachfront Jacuzzi Villas (57.18 square meters) equipped with an outdoor Jacuzzi for sheer luxury.  The Velaavani Bar – In Maldivian, Velaavani describes a shallow bay where turtles gather. The Velaavani Bar serves exotic refreshing cocktails and tasty snacks all day.
