Please read these Terms of Services (“Terms of Services”) carefully before using the website https://www.hellomaldives.com (the “Site”) operated by Hello Maldives Holidays / Hello Maldives Private Limited hereafter referred as (“company”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use our Services.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms please contact us immediately or you may discontinue using website / services provided.
Because of the number of inquiries we receive, we request our clients to inquiry by email or phone through any other social media platform company has provided in terms of communication. All Booking information & services are provided / confirmed in writing by emails only.
Resort Rates published on the Website
Rates published in this website are in United States Dollar (USD) currency on Per Person Per Night basis (unless otherwise specifically specified) from the lowest season of a fiscal year to provide a general idea on rates. Resort rates vary for different period of year and seasons. You may not claim on rates published which may vary from the one quoted / confirmed to you for your requested bookings.
Quotes you request
All rates quoted to you are in USD currency on Single / Double / Triple or Quadruple occupancy as per your request. Quotes are inclusive of accommodation, requested/said Meal plans, both ways Airport Transfers, Service charge, Green Tax and all other applicable Taxes. Guests are not levied to pay any extra charge for same (Apart from incurred bank charges or credit card processing fee).
General Booking Terms
All Booking requests are confirmed by email through us. A Resort Booking Confirmation Number is provided only after payment is submitted. You may not request a booking confirmation prior to submitting payment for your booking. After you have decided on a booking proper documents mentioning the services being confirmed by the company i.e. Booking Confirmations & Payment Invoice with full Reservation details is sent.
After payments are submitted we proceed your Booking for Resort confirmation and update you on same. We will provide you with Travel Documents such as Payment Receipt / Booking Voucher along with your Resort Reservation Confirmation Number with all services booked by you after payment release. Meanwhile, you will always have an update about your Booking from us.
General Payment Terms
Depending on travel period and conditions of Resort being booked – A partial payment as Deposit or Full Payment is required to confirm a Booking. Below are the general payment terms applicable to most Resorts. However, due to the diverse and unique policy of each resort, some may have stricter policy. Please check with us on actual payment agreement of your chosen Resort prior to booking confirmation.
Low /Shoulder Season (May‐September)
‐ Bookings Confirmed 8 Weeks and more prior to Arrival = US$1,000 Per Person as Deposit.
* Remaining balance due 55 days prior to Arrival date.
High / Peak Season (October ‐November / February ‐ April)
‐ Bookings Confirmed 10 Weeks and more prior to Arrival = US$1,000 Per Person as Deposit.
* Remaining balance due 65 days prior to Arrival date.
Festive Season (December ‐ January)
‐ Bookings Confirmed bookings 17 Weeks and more prior to Arrival = 50% Deposit
* Remaining balance due 120 days prior to Arrival date.
You can make payment by Credit Card through Secure Payment Gateway provided by our Bankers “Bank of Maldives” or can arrange the same by Telegraphic Transfer to Company Bank account. Full details with instructions for payment submission are provided through email. Incurred bank charges or Credit Card processing Fees may vary – Please check these details prior to confirming a Booking.
We do not request / collect any Financial information from you. Payments made by Credit Cards are through Bank of Maldives Secure Payment Server only.
Arrival to Maldives & Resort Check In / Out
All Arrival to Maldives are to arrive at Velana International Airport, also referred as Male’ International Airport (Formerly Ibrahim Nasir International Airport). On your Arrival Company Airport Officers with Resort representatives will be standby to welcome you and to assist you with Resort Transfers. You will also find respective Resort Counters at the arrival lounge of International Airport which is just 2-3 minutes walk away from the Arrival Lounge.
Since, Check In & Check Out policy varies for Resorts – Please always check with us on same prior to confirming your reservation.
Both ways Airport transfers either by Speedboat, Seaplane, Yacht or Domestic Air are included in your reservation confirmed by us. Transfer mode varies and depends on Resort you have chosen. Seaplane Transfers are available during day light only i.e. 5:30 Am to 4:30 Pm – Seaplanes don’t operate after 4:30 Pm. All arrivals during night (booked at resort with Seaplane transfers) are required to stay over night at Airport Hotel or City Hotels. Transfers to Resort will be provided following morning from the International Airport accordingly.
We highly recommended you to check all these details with us prior to confirming your Flights / Reservations.
You may request an Amendment of a confirmed booking and same will be arranged. However, please be advised Bookings within Resort cancellation period cannot be amended and cancellation fees will be charged. Please always check with us on Resort Cancellation / Amendment Policies.
Cancellation requests for confirmed Bookings must be received by us in writing by email or Fax and should be within cancellation deadlines. All cancellations to be received by us within active office hours (9 Am to 5 Pm) (MVT) +0500 UTC UTC/GMT & minimum 2 Days prior to the Cancellation policy – as processing time. We always encourage our guests to purchase their own Travel Insurance, which would provide full coverage of unexpected and uncertain scenarios causing a cancellation or interruption to their Holiday.
Followings are the General Cancellation and Amendment Policy applicable to most Resorts in Maldives. However, due to the diverse and unique policy of each Resort, some may have stricter policy. Please always check with us on the actual cancellation and amendment policy of your chosen Resort.
Low / Shoulder Season (May ‐ September)
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 45 Days & more prior to Arrival = Fully Refundable (Deduct incurred bank charges or credit card processing fee).
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 44 to 30 Days prior to Arrival = One night stay or $150 per person Cancellation / Amendment Fee (whichever is higher) and incurred bank charges or credit card processing fee.
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 30 to 0 Days prior to Arrival = Non‐Refundable / 100% Payable.
High / Peak Season (October ‐ November / February ‐ April)
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 60 Days and more prior to Arrival = Fully Refundable (Deduct incurred bank charges or credit card processing fee).
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 59 to 45 Days prior to Arrival = One night stay or $300 per person Cancellation / Amendment Fee (whichever is higher) and incurred bank charges or credit card processing fee.
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 45 to 0 Days prior to Arrival = Non‐Refundable / 100% Payable.
Festive Season (December to January)
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 120 Days and more prior to Arrival = One night stay or $500 per person Cancellation / Amendment Fee (whichever is higher) and incurred bank charges or credit card processing fee.
• Cancellation / Amendment Received 119 to 0 Days prior to Arrival = Non‐ Refundable / 100% Payable.
No shows and early departures will be charged 100% of the total booking value.
All cancellations eligible of Refund (based on cancellation policy) will be Refunded accordingly. Please do not hesitate to contact us immediately if you are looking for a cancellation. We will be happy to assist you.
An event beyond the control of Company its officers, directors, and employees; which prevents The Company from complying with any of it’s obligations under this Contract, including but not limited to:
Act of God (such as, but not limited to, fires, explosions, earthquakes, drought, tidal waves and floods); War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), invasion, act of foreign enemies, mobilization, requisition, or embargo; Rebellion, revolution, insurrection, or military or usurped power, or civil war; Contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel, or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radio-active toxic explosive, or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component of such assembly. Riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lockouts or disorder, or Acts or threats of terrorism.
In such events Occurrence Company shall be excused, discharged or released from its performance to the extent such performance is so limited or prevented, without liability of any kind.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall Company, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, shall be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website whether such liability is under contract. The company, including its officers, directors, and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.
You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent to Company from and against any and / or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted / amended without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
The Company is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and / or obligations under these Terms of Services at any given time and without any prior notifications. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and / or obligations under these Terms.
Variation of Terms
The Company is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
These Terms of Services constitute the entire agreement between Hello Maldives Holidays / Hello Maldives Private Limited and you in relation to your use of this Website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings if any.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Services will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of The Republic of Maldives, and you should submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in The Maldives for the resolution of any disputes.
