Inspired by lifeguard towers, this colourful wooden structure offers guests a thrilling climb up a spiral staircase to two lofty platforms with panoramic views of the island. At the first level – half way to the top – there are rope ladders and rope swings for families to play around or just enjoy the shaded spot. Head further up to the top and discover a cosy den with cushions and throws creating the ultimate chill-out nest – one of our most-photographed vantage-points on the island! Wavy Navy Kid's Club

Children get special treatment in this wonderfully dynamic space and can enjoy a host of creative activities and educational games for kids up to the age of 12. Older, energetic children swim in the kids pool, build sandcastles or hop on an island tour. And when they’ve had enough time in the sun, little ones use the ‘nap lounge’, a peaceful cocooning space. The island’s, experienced team offer two packages to choose from for weddings at Villa Nautica. You can both relax knowing that every detail will be taken care of, so that you can enjoy your special day together and celebrate with family and close friends. Most of the bridal couples get married officially at home but come to the Maldives to say their vows together on our romantic shores and spend their honeymoon here. Bespoke arrangements are coordinated for larger weddings

Both our wedding packages include a private ceremony on the beach, followed by a romantic barbeque with music and local Boduberu dancers and drummers, who will also walk you to your beautiful arch of flowers on the shoreline.

The event is photographed by our wedding photographer and every couple is presented with a leather-bound photo album and with 50 photographs (USB) of their special event. Both include a bouquet of fresh flowers for the bride, a wedding cake and sparkling wine for a toast

The alternative package includes the “Package A” plus canapés and drinks for up to 25 guests. The bridal couple also enjoy additional pampering, including a special breakfast on the morning of the wedding plus fruit and sparkling wine, a relaxing ‘flower bath’, as well as a blissful Loabi-Loabi massage for couples.

DIVING EXPERIENCES IN THE MALDIVES

The North Malé Atoll is the best scuba diving destination in the Maldives. Whether you’re new to diving or are looking to challenge yourself and go one step further: the dive centre, diveOceanus, offers a wide range of courses that range from Discover Scuba Diving right through to PADI Dive Master.

Not far off the island is Manta Point, a world-famous dive site where mantas are found regularly alongside turtles, giant Napoleon wrasse and abundant fish life. Just a short boat ride away is the famous Victory Wreck, as well as marine-protected areas such as Banana Reef and Paradise Rock. Experience gentle drift dives, exhilarating channel dives, colourful thila dives (submerged coral platforms) and others close by.
